What should I do to prepare for the service?
To achieve optimal results for your eyebrow procedure, proper preparation is essential. Your eyebrow area should be healthy and irritation-free.

Can I get tattooed if pregnant?
As a precaution, we will not perform microblading on someone who is pregnant. Please notify us if you find out you are pregnant after booking and we can reschedule you for a later date.
What is the healing process like?
For the first few days, your brows will be more bold and darker than they will look once healed. You may experience some slight flaking and then your brows will look lighter the second half of the week. We provide a more detailed healing process card with your aftercare instruction kit. Plan to stay out of the sun and avoid sweating for at least a week.
How do I take care of my new brows?
Each client will be given a specific, customized aftercare kit. Please follow the instructions that were given to you at your appointment. Detailed after care instructions can be found here: After Care
How do I book an appointment?
For new client appointments, there are specific booking dates. These are announced monthly on our instagram @aestheticsbytess. Please follow our instagram for updates. On booking dates, clients can book directly though our website. Current clients can reach out to Tess for appointments.
Will microblading work for me?
Microblading can be done on all skin types but results may vary. If you have very oily skin you may need an additional session to space out healing or it may not be the correct treatment for your skin type. This can be determined after your first session. Nano brows may be suggested instead depending on goals and skin type.
Frequent smokers or being in the sun often can make your pigment fade faster.
Using retinol or skincare treatments that are exfoliating can also cause pigment to fade faster.
The aftercare must be followed or retention may not reach its potential.
What is the cancellation policy?
All appointments require a credit card and/or deposit on file to hold your appointment. A 200$ non-refundable deposit is required for new clients and a credit card on file is required for all clients. Please provide at least 48 hour notice so I can offer your appointment to another client on our wait list. A cancellation fee of 50% of the reserved service will be charged to the card on file when 48 hour notice is not given. If there is not a card on file the 50% must be paid before booking any other appointments. No call, no shows will be charged 100% of the service fee for all services scheduled. No refunds or credits will be issued towards future services if a client no call/no shows to a scheduled appointment. Clients who have no-showed for appointments will be asked to prepay/pay towards their visit when booking future appointments. Please remember, if you need to reschedule and your appointment (Initial, 4 month, 6 month, Yearly) falls outside the allotted time period for that service, the price will be adjusted according to the time frame. Every effort will be made to re-book you however due to the nature of my schedule there is no guarantee that an appointment will be available at any specific time or date.
What is the late policy?
If you are 15 minutes late to any appointment, your appointment will be canceled, you will be asked to reschedule, and the same policies as above will apply. This is because all clients receive thorough brow mapping as well as detailed and precise work. As a result, I can’t rush your appointment or the appointments of others. Exceptions will not be made for anyone arriving late due to traffic, weather or any other delays. Therefore, if you are more than 15 minutes late to your appointment you will forfeit your deposit and be required to pay for 50% of the service. Plan to arrive 5-10 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment to allow time for traffic etc.
Can I get my deposit back?
Per the forms all clients must sign before appointments are approved, the deposit is non-refundable. This ensures clients that are booking are serious about their appointment and clients on the wait list can get in if necessary. If the deposit does not go through when the card is ran the appointment slot will be forfeited to another client.
Should I book Nano or Microblading?
Please send photos of your brows without makeup in natural lighting to Aestheticsbytess@gmail.com as well as your goals for your brows and skin type (oily, dry, combo or normal). We will then determine which service is best suited for you based on the above.
Can I book if I have had my brows done before?
All clients with prior work must send photos for approval before booking. Please send photos of your brows without makeup in natural lighting to Aestheticsbytess@gmail.com. Once approved, clients can book will need to book a new session to ensure best results.
